Please note that while you have control over your website, any changes made by you or any third party that affect the website’s functionality or appearance are not the responsibility of Gator Web Solutions. However, if you encounter any issues or require assistance, our team is here to help. We offer professional support services at an hourly rate of $45. This includes troubleshooting, fixing issues, and providing guidance. Additionally, if you require a full backup of your website, there will be a minimum charge of $45, and an additional fee of $20 per page that needs to be backed up.

If we need more information we will contact you via email. The preferred files for your archives will be .pdf, .jpg, or .png.

What about the photos on my website?

However, if you have specific photos of your business or products that you’d like to showcase, we encourage you to provide them to us. We are more than happy to work with your own photos to personalize your website and create a unique representation of your brand. How long will it take to complete my website?

Once we have received all your business information, we will promptly begin working on your project based on the solution you have chosen. Our team will focus on creating compelling content, uploading your photos to the gallery, and organizing your website’s information. Upon completion, we provide our customers with a window of 5 business days to review the website and suggest any desired changes. During this time, you can request revisions or provide feedback on specific aspects of the website. However, please note that any additional changes requested after the 5-day period will be subject to additional charges based on the time required to implement them. We kindly encourage you to utilize this initial review period to ensure your website meets your expectations.

Rest assured that our team is committed to delivering a high-quality website within a reasonable timeframe. Once the 5-day review period has elapsed and we have not received any further requests for changes, we will consider the job as complete and mark it as finished.

By default, we will work on your website as an online entity, ensuring that it is accessible and functional during the development process. However, if you prefer to have an “Under Construction” page during the development phase, simply inform us, and we will make the necessary arrangements.

We offer a reasonable number of small changes, such as updating text and images, to ensure your website stays up to date. (3 requests for changes per month: sending all the text and image to be updated at once via email)

Can I request revisions or changes to the project?

Yes, you are welcome to request revisions and changes during the development process. You can request a maximum of 3 major changes, which include substantial modifications to the project’s structure or functionality. Additionally, you can request up to 5 small changes, such as text or image updates.

How should I communicate my revision or change requests?

To request revisions or changes, please send an email to sales@gatorwebsolutions.com. Please ensure that you provide clear and detailed instructions, including any necessary files or references. This will help us better understand your desired changes and assist you as quickly as possible.

How long will it take to receive a response to my revision request?

We strive to provide a prompt response to your revision requests. You can expect to receive a reply within 2 business days. However, please note that the turnaround time may vary depending on the complexity of the changes.

What happens if there is a delay in my response to the revision proposal?

If there is a delay in your response, or if we do not receive a response within 5 business days, we will consider the project as complete and accept it as a finished job.

Are there any additional charges for revisions or changes?

For the agreed-upon maximum of 3 major changes and 5 small changes, there are no additional charges. However, if you exceed these limits or require further revisions after the project has been deemed complete, we will charge $45 per hour for the time spent on the requested revisions. Any additional charges will be invoiced separately and must be paid in accordance with the payment terms outlined in the contract.

Domain Name

What is Domain Name?

A domain name is the unique address of a website on the internet. It serves as the website’s online identity, allowing users to access the site by typing the domain name into a web browser. A domain name typically consists of two parts: the actual name or words chosen by the website owner (e.g., “example”) and the domain extension (e.g., “.com”, “.org”, “.net”). Together, they form the complete domain name (e.g., “example.com”). Domain names are registered and managed through domain registrars.

E.g.: Our name is Gator Web Solutions and our domain is gatorwebsolutions.com.

If I have my own domain name?

Don’t worry! Our team will assist you in seamlessly linking your own domain name to our hosting services. You have two options:

  1. We can contact you to guide you through the process of linking your domain name to our hosting services.
  2. If you prefer, you can provide us with your login information, and we will handle the linking for you. Rest assured, you can change your password after we have completed the process. We are here to make it convenient for you!
If I don't have my own domain name?

We will buy it for you using the website GoDaddy! Don’t worry, we make it easy for you! We can buy it and if you want to have your own domain name under your log-in afterwhile we can transfer it before a fee payment of just $49.99 and you must have a GoDaddy account so we can transfer it to your user.

How long do a Domain Name Expires?

As a non-contract business, we provide flexibility and options for our customers. If you are subscribed to one of our plans, we will take care of your domain on your behalf, ensuring its renewal and uninterrupted service. However, if you decide to discontinue your plan with us, we will simply release the domain, and it will become available for registration by others after a year from the initial purchase. We want to offer you the freedom to choose what works best for your business while ensuring a smooth transition if you decide to make changes to your domain registration.

Is there a contract for the hosting plan? Can I cancel at any time?

Our hosting plan operates on a monthly payment basis, allowing you the flexibility to cancel whenever you need. There are no long-term contracts that bind you to a specific duration. You can simply discontinue the hosting service whenever you wish without any penalties or obligations.

Payment Processing and Failed Payment Attempts

Failed Payment Attempts: If a client’s payment method is not accepted or if we are unable to contact them regarding payment issues, we reserve the right to make up to two charge attempts. If payment is not successfully processed after the second attempt, we may automatically remove the client’s website from our hosting platform.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our terms of service are designed to protect both you and us during our collaboration. While we strive to provide the best services possible, we understand that circumstances may change. You have the flexibility to cancel your plan at any time without any attachments or obligations.

I'm sure I want to cancel my hosting service subscription. Do I need to contact Gator Web Solutions to cancel my hosting service?

No, if you want to contact us, we can do that for you, or you can do it yourself.

If you want to cancel your service with us, you can simply contact us via email or live chat, or go to the “Your Account” page, at the bottom of the website, log in and cancel your subscription. After canceling your subscription, please let us know if you want us to finish your services right away or wait till the final of the current month to remove your services online.

If I want to cancel the hosting service subscription and have my site hosted under my own hosting service, is that possible?

Absolutely! We understand that your needs may change, and you may prefer to host your website on your own hosting service. If you decide to cancel your subscription and have your site hosted elsewhere, we will provide you with the necessary files and assist you in transferring your website to your preferred hosting service.

Please note that there will be a one-time transfer fee and if you need us to install it we have an installation fee as well:

Transfer Fee: For clients who choose to use their own hosting service, a one-time transfer fee of $199.00 will be charged to cover the cost of transferring the website files to the client’s hosting provider.

Installation Fee: If the client requests our assistance in installing the website on their own hosting service, an additional installation fee of $199.00 will be charged. This fee covers the labor involved in configuring and setting up the website on the client’s hosting service.

Note that once the transfer is complete, we will no longer be responsible for the hosting or maintenance of your website. Additionally, any future updates or technical support will need to be managed by your new hosting provider or yourself.
